Who's idea was it to buy the most expensive crib they could find?

Dustin is such a proud dad and when it comes to his little girl he wants the best of the best for her (I won't lie, he is that way with me too). When it came down to buying a crib I found one that I loved, but mentioned that maybe we should get a cheaper one. Dustin insisted that we got her that one. So... we did. It's nice, BUT last night when we put Brinley to bed I noticed little scratches and teeth marks working their way around the crib. Humm. I knew that all kids did this. Were we thinking that ours would be an exception????? Hey, we are new parents right? You live and you learn. Dustin's response was, "it's ok Brinley. I still love you. Goodnight sweetheart." He is such a good dad!

9 Month Check Up

Great News! Brinley now weighs almost 16 pounds. I was super excited about this because it moved her from the 2% to 7% range. She is still underweight for her height and if she doesn't pack on some pounds before her next appointment we will just start giving her some type of weight gainer (I'm thinking it's just some empty calories). She DID NOT get this trait from her mom. Other than that she is doing great! Her skin is turning yellow/orange from eating so many carrots. I just had to brag about her 5% increase. I am determined that she won't be the runt of the school yard. We are so blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby.

it's true... I MARRIED A DORK!

Ever since we rented a scooter in the Bahamas on our honeymoon, Dustin has talked about getting one. With gas prices above $3.00 a gallon and rising I am actually convinced that it was a great investment. Hey, the thing has 1 mile on it and gets 90 miles to the gallon. I think he will be able to handle it since we drive on the right side of the road here in America. In the Bahamas though... let's just say I thought we were going to die.

They are dorky, but that's Dustin for ya. He is my favorite dork in the whole entire world.

I am head over heels in love

With this girl.

One of our favorite things to do is dance around the living room. We do this daily.

She truly is her daddy's little girl

The other day Brinley woke up (around 7:00 am) and the first thing she did was head for the football. She looks pretty tired, but she was ready to play.

Isn't she a doll?

I took Brinley to get her pictures taken. Isn't she funny? Stephanie Tueller took them. I can't wait to see the rest of them!
