Eclipse

One of our favorite summer nights was spent at the Eclipse Concert, the girls danced their little hearts out and we all had a blast.

Pagosa Springs (Day 8)

We headed for home.  This was such a fun family vacation full of so many memories and quality time.  We enjoyed playing tennis several times and I loved my morning runs with this beautiful scenery.  We feel so blessed to be able to do so many fun things with our girls.

Pagosa Springs (Day 7)

We decided to take the girls to the production of Beauty and the Beast.  The theatre was pretty small, but we had front row seats and the girls LOVED it!  It was such a cute play.  Lun got scared a few times and asked questions for everyone to hear throughout the entire play, but thankfully everyone just thought she was cute and didn't get annoyed at her.  When we were done she let us know, "My tummy says I want to go again."  I guess this came from her sometimes asking us if she can be done eating and we say, "What does your tummy say?" Apparently her tummy tells her more than when she's hungry or full.  According to London's tummy Beauty and the Beast was a hit!

Pagosa Springs (Day 6)

We went on another beautiful hike.  The girls did awesome considering it was about a 5 mile hike.  We saw some wildlife along the way, the view at the top was amazing and we had two very tired little girls by the time we made it back down.

Pagosa Springs (Day 5)

We drove to the 4 corners because who doesn't want to stand in four states at one time?

Funny thing about Lun, ever since Brinley started playing the violin London will grab two of whatever and pretend to play the violin.  Here she is playing for us on our car ride.

Pagosa Springs (Day 4)

We spent the day at the Pagosa Hot Springs to celebrate Dustin's Birthday then came back to the resort and had a party for him that night.

Pagosa Springs (Day 3)

We swam at the resort, played tennis and hiked to a beautiful waterfall!

Pagosa Springs (Day 2)

The resort was... okay, not the nicest place we have ever stayed, but not the worst either.  The scenery, well that's another story.  Some of the views were just breathtaking.  We had fun hanging out at the resort.  The girls loved the parks and the miniature golf.

Pagosa Springs... and just like that, she's 7.

We decided to take a little family vacation this summer to a mountain resort in Pagosa Springs Colorado.  Why?  Because Colorado is beautiful and you know we can't pass up any opportunity to take a vacation. It was a long drive, but these girls did awesome.  Every time we take a road trip I'm shocked at how great my kids really are and since we traveled on Brinley's actual Birthday we had a little party for her when we got there... and just like that, she's 7!

Caziers Camping

Before Curtis and Whitney left we were all able to go on a little camping trip, also with Whitney's family.  We celebrated Brinley and Dustin's birthday while we were there.  We have so much fun camping with this group, we don't do it nearly enough.

A Girl After My Own Heart

Brinley decided to try track this year.  She LOVED it!  Well, she did cry the first day because there were boys there, but it didn't take her long to get over that.  There were plenty of girls there too.  She did a great job and running seems to be a sport she enjoys.  Unless I ask her to go running with me, she's rarely interested in that.

Whatever Floats Your Boat

While Curtis and Whit were here we were able to go canoeing at First Dam with the Cazier side of the family.  It was so fun to be invited and to spend this time with them.

Brinley's Little Bakery

For Brinley's Birthday this year we planned a little bakery party.  The girls had a blast coloring their aprons and decorating their cakes.  And they all got a kick out of London who just couldn't wait to eat hers so she just dove right in, no utensils requires.
