I wish I had a picture of it, but I don't. Brinley took a big bite out of an egg and just started chewing... THE EGG STILL HAD THE SHELL ON IT. So we pealed this egg for he to eat. It' looks like she's enjoying this one much better than the last.

I took Brinley to get her 1st haircut today...ok, her first haircut by someone other than me. We cut it in a fohawk and it's SO CUTE! You can't really see the haircut in these pictures because we just did it messy. She's so cute I can't stand it!

Food Storage, Hair and Kids are Cute

I'm kind of obsessed with food storage right now. It's has been a goal of mine to get a year's supply. So, I ran to the grocery store the other day because there was some deal I couldn't pass up and I hear this little girl in line behind me say, "Mom, mom... That girl has red in her hair." The mom goes bright red and ignores the little girl. "MOM!!! WHY DOES THAT GIRL HAVE RED IN HER HAIR?" I just laughed. The mom was so embarrassed and just pretend that she didn't hear the little girl. I wanted to talk to the little girl and say, "I know it's kind of crazy huh", but I didn't. I just let the mom feel stupid. KIDS ARE CUTE!

Anyone who knows my husband knows that he is a pretty great guy... partly because his dad did a great job raising him and partly because of his Grandparents. Dustin has been really close with his grandparents, I guess you could say at times they have been more like parents to him. They have had such a huge impact on his life and have helped "mold" him into the person he has become. My husband's heart is aching as he worries about his Grandpa who took a turn for the worst this past weekend. He is in Logan Nursing and Rehab and we are all just hoping and praying for a full recovery so we can spend lots more time with this great man who has touched all of our lives. We love you Doyle, just keep fighting!

This is not an April fools joke

I did it! I made it an entire month without sugar. It actually wasn't too bad. I think I'll do it again sometime, but not this month... I have too many boxes of unopened girl scout cookies. Plus, Easter candy is good! You wouldn't believe all of the stuff I turned down though. Oh, and yes it is 7:30 in the morning and yes I did already eat a homemade Oreo for breakfast NO thanks to my sister who made them two times last month. I don't think I even wanted it, I just ate it because I can.
