My Beautiful Life

 I feel a little guilty about not taking more pictures of London, about not documenting her every move like I did with Brinley.  I really do want to document more because I love having these memories to look back on, but the truth is, I've just been too busy loving her.  And loving Brinley and spending time with them along with the rest of my family.  Someone said to me the other day, "You seem so happy."  and my response was, "Thanks, I am!"  I can't even begin to tell you want these two beautiful children have done for me.  They both came at just the right time.  I feel so complete (at least for now). 

I have such a great job and was so blessed to be able to take over 3 months off of work and I loved the heck out of it.  My girls and I had so much fun together and Dustin and I went to the gym together every night (sounds silly, but this is one of our favorite things in the world).  I loved this time and although I should have been documenting it, I was too busy loving it. 

The night we came home from Arizona London rolled over from her stomach to her back.  She seems to be growing so much faster than Brinley did.  I guess that's because Brinley didn't grow.  Lunnie is so sweet!  I tell people, all babies are sweet, but she's extra sweet.  I'm excited to see who she will become because she is such a little angel right now.

Thanksgiving was good.  I love having a day to reflect on the blessings in my life.  Black Friday was tiring and of course we kept our tradition of making Gingerbread houses.

I told my work that I would be back shortly after Thanksgiving. I really had mixed emotions about this.  I put some serious thought into quitting my job.  I don't work because I have to.  I choose to work, but I also don't work because I don't want to take care of my own kids.  It's way more complicated than that.  I just try to do what I honestly feel is best for my entire family.  I'm eternally thankful for my sisters who help me out with my kiddos while I am at work. Without them, I just don't think I could do it.  I'm the ultimate mother bear when it comes to protecting my kids and they respect me.  They know what I'm paranoid about, they know my kids can't have pop because I'm a food snob, they know not to give them too much sugar, they know if I freak out about something I will get over it the next day.  They love my kids and I couldn't ask for better babysitters. 

Camelback Mountain

We wanted to go for a little hike so Troy suggested Camelback Mountain.  I'm pretty sure it was our only option, but Troy said it would be an easy hike for a 4 year old if we only went to the saddle.  Should have known better than to listen to Troy (love him to death, but he doesn't always make the smartest or safest decisions).  It actually was an easy hike, but probably not for a 4 year old and a newborn baby.  Either way we ended up having a ton of fun.  Brinley was climbing rocks that were as tall as her and didn't complain a bit.

We had such a fun little trip to Arizona.  The girls were great and Troy and Sabra were great hosts.  Thanks for all the fun.  Your house is adorable!

Just before Thanksgiving we took a little trip to Arizona to see Troy, Sabra and their cute house.  We had so much fun with them and the girls were so good (most of the time).

London's Blessing Day

We blessed London on Sunday.  She ended up wearing the dress I was blessing in and she looked like such a little doll!  Afterwords, we had luch up the canyon at a little place we rented.  We have the best family ever, they helped us so much (especially my Mom)!  It was such a great day and so fun to be able to celebrate little Lunnie.  She is such a blessing in our lives, I can't believe we were ever a family without her.  We love you  little Lunnie and are so glad you were born.

Brinley was a princess for Halloween (what 4 year old girl wasn't?) and we put this hotdog costume on Lunnie for a bit.  It seems like costumes are hard with newborns because you have to take it off every time you put them in the carseat so she didn't wear it for too long.  Kaden and Karson came trick-or-treating with us because our little neighborhood is just about the 'last of the trick-or-treaters'.  It seems like everyone else does the trunk or treat, but we'll stick to the traditional old fashioned Halloween thank you.  The kids had fun.  Afterwords our little family went to Steve and Jill's to have dinner, it's tradition and so yummy as always.  We made a couple of stops to see Grandmas then headed home with more candy than we should have.

The Pumpkin Walk

We took our girls to the Pumpkin Walk.  Brinley had fun and London is just so content.  If she has been fed, she is happy.

A Visit From Roy

Troy and Sabra came "home" a few weeks ago to finish moving all of their stuff.  It was so fun to have them back for a while.  Troy's the life of the party.  We all went to Cafe Sabor for dinner and it was pretty much chaos!  We had family pictures taken and it was sort of chaotic.  And just before they left we had lunch up the canyon and it was surprisingly not chaotic at all.  Come back soon, we miss you!
