Holy Halloween

Friday we went to this little Halloween thing in Paradise with my family. Brinley had so much fun and it's free.

Even the big kids got to ride the train.

Saturday we took Brinley to Frightmares. Troy and Sabra came with us.

Brinley was really confused when we put her in this car by herself and waved goodbye. The car started driving off and she didn't understand what we were doing.

Being a parent is so amazing! You find the most joy in knowing that your children are happy.

Silly boys!

Sunday we painted pumpkins at my parent's house.

Here's a picture of Brinley being Brinley. She's such a clown!
Monday we went with the Hills to the Pumpkin Walk. Brinley called it the "Pumpkin Sidewalk."

The pumpkin patch

We took Brinley to pick out some pumpkins this weekend.

She loved the ones that weren't "heavy"

Can't wait to decorate them.

I got an email yesterday... It broke my heart

And because I have a perfect, healthy, little girl that I get to kiss good night and tell her I love her every single day of my life. And because she has hair that I get to brush everyday, I chose to pass it on.

You may have seen something about her in the Harold Journal, but this little girl lives in Richmond. She has Cancer and an anonymous donor has agreed to donate $2 for each person that posts something about this on their blog. Read more on Her Website or this amazing girl that decided to do something's blog.

They are going to have a race for Taylie and I can't wait to run for this little girl.

Make sure you leave a comment on her blog so she knows you participated!

A Day In My Life

We wake up, get baths and breakfast.
This is Baby Dee. I guess she gets hungry too. I told Brinley not to feed Baby Dee and she replied, "But I love her." Then I took Brinley to gymnastics. She did such a good job and even decided that during the middle of gymnastics would be a good time to practice potty training resulting with pee on her leotard.
When we came home I could tell she was chewing on something. I asked her what was in her mouth and she said, "gum" I asked her where she got gum from and she said, "from my nose." YUCK!!!
I told her to take her gymnastics clothes off, so she did. She walks up behind me and says "I getting dressed. I getting dressed." I turned around to find this...
We put her real clothes on her and out the door we go. Brinley's job is to feed the dog. Not only did she feed the dog this morning, but she decided she would try it herself. I caught her licking the dog food.
Now throw in dirty dishes and dirty diapers, pink lint in my dryer, trips to the library and trips to the park, temper tantrums and tutu's, racing around the kitchen pantry, toys scattered all across my house, book and bubble baths, singing songs, dogie piles and ring around the rosies before bed (twice), kisses and BIG kisses, loves and BIG loves, lots of laughing and even more love, big dreams and high hopes, pig tails and runny noses, bike rides and running, teeth to brush and dancing around the living room, building forts and coloring pictures, tears of sadness and tears of joy, trips to the grocery store and dinner on the stove... And now you have my life.
There are so many amazing and beautiful things to love about life, but all of THIS is what I love the very most.

Our Little Gymnast

Brinley and I had our first day of Mommy and Me Gymnastics yesterday.
She was so excited and couldn't wait to go to gymnastics, but she kept calling it aerobics.
Here she is in her "splits"
She did such a great job and had so much fun!

She jumped, practised cart-wheel and handstands, bars, and even walked on the high beam!

As you can tell by the look on her face, she absolutely LOVES gymnastics.

I can't believe my little baby is old enough for gymnastics. She has grown so much lately!

As Jesus Taught

For the life of me I can't EVER make it to church on time. We are ALWAYS late! Now you are wondering what time our church is... it's a 1:00, but that's another story. So, we were standing in the hall waiting for them to finish the sacrament when Brinley pointed her finger and said, "Jesus huh" Dustin and I looked to see what she was pointing at and started laughing. A man teaching in a nearby room with shoulder length hair and beard. The thing was, he was kind round and I thought it was so funny that she had mistaken that man for Jesus.

No sugar until Thanksgiving

Anyone want to join me?

Rainy Days

Last week, we came home to this rain storm.
Brinley insisted on playing in it. She actually told me she wanted to "dance in the rain."
Talk about making the most out of life.

Riding Horses/Mules

Brinley LOVES horses and LOVES riding them!

As you can tell, Dustin didn't exactly dress for the occasion.
