I better put my running shoes on

so I can keep up with Brinley. She has taken her first steps. It's the cutest thing ever! She has been working on if for a couple of weeks and is up to about 4 or 5 steps before she falls. She gets so excited, I love watching her. I just can't believe that my little baby is hardly a baby anymore.

Dustin started a small business detailing cars and he does a great job! Have you ever taken your car to the Auto Spa and realized that the $3 car wash could have done a better job? We have. Trust me, I have seen his work and it looks fabulous when he is done with it so, if you need your car detailed send it his way.

Our intentions were to stay home this weekend and get stuff done around the house… BUT we went for a bike ride first thing on Saturday then spent the rest of the day at Bear Lake. I thought it would be a long day for Brinley considering she hadn’t had a nap and she was way off schedule, but SHE LOVED IT! She is a total BEACH BUM! We went with my sisters and their kids who are all older than her. She out swam EVERYONE! The boys were complaining that they were cold, but the water didn’t bother her at all. When she wasn’t in the water she was LOVING the sand. She would hold her dirty hands up and say, “pretty” Apparently her idea of pretty doesn’t exactly match mine, but at least she had fun. She did sneak a few handfuls of sand in her mouth, but other than that she was PERFECT!

Who wants something fabulous?

When I make dinner it has to be
A) Good
B) Healthy
AND C) Easy

For me the hardest part about making dinner is what to make so, if you’re like me here’s and idea

Take a flour tortilla (I like whole wheat or a Pita would be equally as good)
Top with grilled chicken or canned chicken (if it’s canned it HAS to come from Sam’s Club! All other canned chicken sucks!)
Heat until the chicken is warm
Add grated cheese (if you want)
Diced Tomatoes (Make sure they are on the vine so you don’t die)
Leaf lettuce
And 1 TBS of Caesar dressing

That's it.

My husband is a funny guy

I like my job, but every once in a while I have one of those days where I’m all caught up and the day just drags on. I beg for work and my boss brings out a stack of magazines for me to read…Done, bored again.

Email to my husband: Boring, boring why is my job so boring?

His reply: Maybe because you work at a bank and you don’t get to play with the money.

I love to shop

I spent last weekend with my mom and my sisters in Salt Lake.We had so much fun!

We ate at the Melting Pot and some other fun restaurants, watched the Drowsy Chaperon, got Pedicures and did LOTS of Shopping. Thanks girls, you are so much fun!

This is Brady. In elementary school we got off the bus and the same stop. He would cross the street and yell mean things at me. I'm sure I yelled back. Then we grew up and he turned out to be one of my very best friends. Congratulations you guys, your wedding was beautiful! (Sorry I stole your picture)
