What happened in Vegas (Day 2)

We spent the second day relaxing and soaking up the resort life, so great!

What happened in Vegas... (Day 1)

We had to get away to somewhere warm for Spring Break! It snowed here! We booked a resort in Vegas and didn't have to come home for 8 glorious days. Wahoo! Our resort was really nice. We were happy to see a big jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, a luxury we just aren't used to at home. It also had like a dozen pools so the kids spent the first night testing out the kiddie pool.

Sisters share

We went to the Nibley Easter Egg Hunt. It's never a great experience. Long story short, Lun didn't get to hunt eggs because they let her group go when they weren't supposed to. Brinley shared her eggs with London and they were both happy. Look at them, aren't they darling?

Valentine's Day

You know us, we have to make a bid deal out of Valentine's Day at our house. What better thing to celebrate than love? Dustin sure knew how to put a smile on these girls faces.

Baking to our Heart's Content

We planned for months to make cupcakes for Valentine's day. While we were at it, we decided to share the love. The girls and I baked 10 dozen cupcakes from scratch. The kitchen was covered with flour and frosting for a few days, but we had fun doing it.

Ice Castle

We took the girls to the Ice Castle in Midway. They LOVED it, especially since we had just taken them to see Frozen. We bought the soundtrack and they listened to it and sang the whole way. We decided to make a weekend out of it. They of course loved swimming at the hotel. Getting away as a family is our absolute most favorite thing to do. We love being home too, but when we are gone there is nothing to worry about, no house to clean or work to do, just quality time with the ones we love most.

Christmas Party

Troy and Sabra were able to be here for Christmas. Most everyone sported their ugly sweaters (everyone except for Dustin and I, I was lucky to get my Christmas shopping done). We had fun spending Christmas Eve with my family then we went to Dustin's Grandma's to carry on our traditions there. Brinley played Jolly Old St. Nicholas for us on the violin.
